Heres my Calico 9mm with 100 round drum  Real fun to shoot, a little pricey now, but you can find them from time to time on Gunbroker. 100_1499.jpg

I've owned the following, in no particular order:

Marlin Camp 45 .45ACP
Ruger PC9 9mm
Colt 6450 9mm AR15
Marlin 1894C .357 Magnum

I'd say the one out of that group with the most utility was the Marlin 1894C. If you already have an AR15 and were looking for less expensive plinking options on the same platform, I'd go .22LR before I'd go 9mm again. All I could think of when I got that Colt was, "man this thing would be cool if I SBR'd it . . ." I didn't want to hack the gun up, so I sold it. It was lighter and had a much better trigger than the Ruger PC9, but wasn't any more accurate. I've heard the Marlin Camp series being described as a "gentleman's gun" and I'd have to agree. Nice to take to the range, but I'd be afraid to ding it up too much due to the lack of replacement parts.

I've moved all my 9mm carbines and I'm going to .22LR for rifle plinking duty. I just figured I wasn't shooting any farther with 9mm than I was with .22LR, so what's the difference?
