I have a pair of those too. I lucked into them on ebay. They are the best j-frame grip IMHO...if you look quick there are some on ebay right now...
I scoured ebay and couldn't find those banangrips.

Sorry man, I would swear they were there. I put them in my watch list and saw them there last night. The auction must have been removed. They wanted over $50 for them and the colors did not match. They were smooth (like the ones I have) not etched like magnas.I scoured ebay and couldn't find those banangrips.
D&J has 'em
The best I've found is made by Mika.
It can tend to stick to the gun on the draw however.
I didn't "suggest" the holster. I commented on it's good and bad points.Unfortunately, those banana grips are new Cocobolo, Kim Ahrends - not original S&W.
I agree!
I don't understand why you would suggest a holster that sticks to the gun when you draw?

Just curious......are you a LEO?Might consider an ankle holster. Pull your sock up over it if you go that way. It helps to be flexible, too. I used 'em for years, but less so now days. They are very good in the car, etc., or if you are fairly young and can still move good.
Well I got a Mika roundcut for my 340PD, but I don't really like it. As someone on the M&P 340 thread said, it's kinda like putting your gun in a trumpet. It holds the pocket open, and exposes the grip of the gun. That Don Hume holster stays nice and flat in the pocket, and does a good job of breaking up the outline of the gun, but as I said it does have a tendancy to stick. Not always, but sometimes. With some practice of dragging the gun back on the draw, the hook on the holster would keep that from happening.I guess I was thrown off by the "excellent for J-Frames" remark. After further review - I see you were referring only to its concealability.
For me - any holster that fits a j-frame and goes into a pocket is going to pretty excellent concealment. The primary test is whether or not the holster comes out of the pocket on the draw.
