I just started having this problem where my trigger was not resetting about once per mag. When I tried to fiddle with the slide, it was restring the trigger only half of the time. I should mention that I have a Ghost trigger, but it has been flawless for about two years and several thousand rounds thru. Any clue what might be the issue?

Hmm, I installed a Lone Wolf 6lb trigger spring and it would do the same thing. Put stock back in and was fine.

I agree, put the stock back in. I work on Glocks a lot and the stock trigger is a good unit.
The only other thing I can say is make sure everything is clean.

I saw that you wrote that you had a Ghost trigger in it. What exact parts did you take out and what exact parts did you put in ?
I am not sure if you mean a kit or just a trigger. I did take out my stock Glock 21 connector and replace it with a Ghost connector. Mine has been great.
Please let us know exact parts. We may be able to narrow it down for you.

Take it completely apart, see if anything is bent or broken. Trigger return spring may be getting weak or has worked itself loose.

Replace the trigger spring and connector. Clean everything. Put the stock connector and spring back in. If that fixes the problem. Order a new trigger kit. I prefer the Zevtech Fulcrum kit (with a little custom work) with a Lone Wolf 3.5 connector. The LW 3.5 is more "stockish" in operation and reliability IME.

The connector gets pushed in by the slide, that allows the trigger bar to jump up and catch the striker foot.

So check for wear at the trigger bar and striker foot as well.

Matt, If you haven't located the problem yet, I'll throw out another possibility, longshot though it may be. A co-worker reported that the trigger was not resetting every time on a Glock 19. I discovered that one of the rear frame rails was completely broken off. This allowed the rear of the slide to sometimes move upward enough that the trigger bar did not always engage the lug/foot on the bottom rear of the firing pin, thus inconsistent trigger reset. Glock replaced the frame at N/C.

I had this exact same problem when I attempted the $.50 trigger job. During polishing, I had bent the connector inward ever so slightly. Try bending it outward (towards the right side of the frame if you were to point the gun at something). If that doesn't work, perhaps bend it slightly inward. Mine took some fiddling to get right. Good luck!
