I'm not a revolver guy so I need some info / opinions.

I'm looking at a Blackhawk .357 that's about 5 years old and it's had at least 1000+ rds. through it.

I'm not worried about the round count and I've printed off info about how to check the cylinder lockup and gap. My question has to do with the trigger.

Owner states:

Ruger Blackhawk, new model , 357 all prettied up has superblackhawk trigger installed, wolf spring kit installed, shoots very well, the frame is polished aluminum.

What advantage is there in having the SuperBlackhawk trigger? Is there something specific I need to check with this type of conversion?

The hammer, grip frame and trigger gaurd are bright while the rest of the frame, cylinder and barrel are blue.

While it's a different look than what I'm use to seeing it's not a bad look. He's asking $325.00 and is throwing in 2 bxs. of .38 Special (reloads), a cross draw holster and is willing to drive half way (we're 2 hrs. apart) to make the deal.

He has a 100% rating on another forum that I belong to so I'm not overly concern that he is not an honest guy and the deal seems fair to me compared to some of the others I have priced.

Thoughts?

The Super hammer used to be wider and serrated but no longer. The New Models are all the same. He 'might' have meant that it has a Super hammer, which has a wider, lower spur. Polishing the grip frame is rather common and not an issue if he did a good job and you like the way it looks. Sounds like a fair price. Got any pics?
