Looking to purchase a new rifle (.243 bolt action) for Christmas. These are the ones I have my eye on. Which would you choose and why?

I prefer CZs for the most part...have shot the 375s but not the 243s...
I have a nib Winchester Classic Model 70 Fwt with a 4.5-14 Leupold VariX111 on it...never shot tend to shoot my AR-15 223 most of the time...contact me at [email protected] if any interest...

Close call between the Savage and the Remington for me but recent very positive experiences/observations re: the Savage rifles tip my vote to the Savage.

Truth is, you will be very effectively armed with any of them.

Thanks for the input. Think I've narrowed it down to the Ruger and the Savage. Something about the adjustable trigger on the Savage appeals to me.

Really surprised the Browning did not receive ANY votes...mmmmm. Any further input or opinions are welcome.

CZ, fit and finish will be absolutely beautiful, the set trigger will astound you, the cz rings fit the rifle, and are the best in the business. And it will NOT BE BEATEN, in the accuracy dept. All this, and I bet it will be cheaper than all the rest as well.

by the way, the set trigger on the cz can be adjusted, so can the creap and the crawl, but the lightness of pull can be adjusted, WITHOUT REMOVING ANYTHING FROM THE STOCK!!!!! awesome.
this is why I currently own 4 cz's, and am about to be a proud boyfriend to #5, the other girls will just have to be jealous.

I thought the CZ 550 and the CDL were even. I chose the CZ though since i like the shiny blueing on it. Plus theres a lot of people out there that have 700s, you could be someone that 'sticks' out more i guess. They are both great rifles though.

OK...I'll look at the CZ again. I have a CZ 75B single action and am familiar with their reputaion for fit and finish as well as overall quality. Did not know about the "adjustables" so will go back and do some homework.

Thanks!
