I’m somewhat new to reloading hand gun ammunition and have been having some troubles with getting good results for my 45 ACP, does anyone know of good books, links for getting a better understanding on how to properly set up the dies for handgun use.
I’m experiencing rounds that are to tight in the chamber and gage, sometimes they are tight at the crimp, other times they are too wide at the base of the bullet, the funny thing is 75% work perfect, chamber perfect shoot perfect, others just don’t go. It may just be the mix of brass but something tells me that’s not it or at least not all of it as I’ve used brass of the same box, even component brass from the same bag and still get mixed results, I can honestly and simply say I don’t know enough about it to be sure I’m setting it up right, but I’d like to learn so please give me some good sources! Thank you!
