help sizing rifle case

I am trying to FL size 308 case I am using RCBS sb x die but I keep denting the shoulders.......I have pulled the die apart and cleaned it still same problem. Lubing the case with RCBS case lube, cases have been trimmed to work with the x die. Press is a Lee classic turret used as single stage. please help losing my hair from pulling it out. :banghead:

Dented shoulders are only caused by too much sizing lube on the case.

Lube it on the pad, or spray it, then wipe off everything you can with your fingers.

What is left is just right.

And you do not need any lube on the shoulder.

There is a vent hole to release air, clean it if pluged. Look for it in the thread area. The X die has a hole.

A bulge may form on the shoulder if the X die is not adjusted correctly, Instructions.

Note: Adjusting the mandrel too far
down will cause the case to buckle.
