I'm hoping someone here has some ideas. I've got a Springfield compact 1911, a model that was apparently discontinued some years back. I've managed to break one of the grips (no idea how), and it's much less fun to shoot now, what with the cutting into my hand every time I pull the trigger.
I've had very little luck finding anything on the net about this model. The Springfield website doesn't mention the gun. Does anyone know where I can find grips for this gun? Is it possible that this gun is a standardized size and that there are grips that match if I can just figure out the descriptive terms?
