Looks like an AR-7 magazine to me.

They are usually 8 round. Some aftermarket 10 round versions were made.

Henry makes an updated AR-7 as the US Survival Rifle. Standard magazines are 8, they make a 5 round magazine for owners living in jurisdictions that limit semi-auto hunting rifles to 5 rounds.

The removable baseplate ID's that as an aftermarket magazine. The ArmaLite, Charter, and Henry factory originals have a base fold part of the magazine body.
