Need help identifying old ammo and a magazine

    Hi guys,

    Does anybody recognize this headstamp or the magazine that contained the ammo?

    Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

    Looks to be from a WWII German Gewehr 43/Karabiner semi-auto.

    8mm Mauser caliber from April 1944.

    Yeah that`s what I am going to say, its a Gewehr mag & a 7.92x57.................

    Thanks a lot! I didn´t even think about the G43, which I should have since there are not that many magazine fed rifles from that era :eek:

    Those G.43/K.43 mags in good condition are bringing in the neighborhood of $200+ these days.

    The ammo should be assumed to be corrosive; without the box, there is no way to be sure.
