Hello All
I have been asked to help out a family friend with selling most of his rifles. The problem is 1st I don't know much about the C&R scene, 2nd most have rust to some degree, 3rd some are missing at least one piece. So without further ado here they are (I will post pics in the am) I am only asking ballpark type numbers thanks guys.
1. Ariska type 38 WITH A INTACT "MUM" and bayonet with scabbard. It does have some rust but not God awful.
Sorry about the toes.
2. British Lee Enfield B.S.A. Co 1918 Sht L.E. III* that has been sporterized but has what I consider a beautiful Monte Carlo (I think) type stock. Some rust not to bad.
3. Italian Fucile Corto 91/38 6.5 carcano. Some rust on the trigger housing but most of the rifle has a very nice patina. (I may buy this one it just feels good and yes I know about the ammo issue)
4. Don't know if this is C&R but it is old, Springfield (J. Stevens Arms) Model 87M little to no rust, stock looks to either have never been varnished or someone at some point replaced it. Missing upper forearm and bands but other wise intact.
Any help will be gratefully accepted
