Help with prices for Beretta 1934 and Jennings

One of my relatives passed and owned these two automatics. The first is a Beretta 1934 in 32 ACP and I attached pictures. The second is a Jennings 22 LR. They just want some money. I thought around $200.00 for both would be reasonable, what say you all??

The first is a Beretta 1934 in 32 ACP... around $200.00
sounds like a great price, could go a bit higher though.

The second is a Jimenez 22 LR...
For as much as I have supported these and said they were great: I would say $60. Anything more and... no.
Looks like some nice pieces there, as a two gun deal I could rationalize to myself in paying $300 for them. Love 'em and shoot the hell out of 'em.
Edit: It isn't a Jimenez. It's a Jennings with the old style safety.

You are correct, it is a jennings, I just did not read closely. What is the difference in the safety (new versus old)

The safety slides forward and back on the old as opposed to up and down on the new. Slides for the new style safety will fit guns fit with the old style safety, but not the other way around. Numrich offers a floral "engraved" slide for the old style safety.

For which one? I don't know if any other magazine will work for the Beretta, but the magazine for either the Bryco J22 or the Jimenez JA22 will work for the Jennings.

The jennings is missing the magazine. What is the story on Jennings? I find it strange that three different companies use the same magazine.

The Beretta is worth around $275-300. The Jennings maybe $25. The Jennings, Bryco, and Jimenez are the same design.

Thanks for all the responses! I did not want to lowball a family member. My wife told me just tell her how much to write the check for. (I was shocked)

The Beretta is worth around $275+The Jennings maybe $25=$300 Doesn't matter how you play with the numbers. you'd still ultimately hand him $300:neener:

You are correct, I figure it is going to family. Now what to do about the rust?? I will be home at xmas on R&R so what can I submerge it in and let it sit until end of tour?

My brother came by and gave me both, the berretta has the magazine the jennings did not. anyone having the jenning magazine, PM me please I would like to one or two. the same with the berretta. The berretta looked in better shape in person, a good cleaning will help.

Jennings mags should be a dime a dozen. Check Gunbroker for any Bryco-22/Jennings-22/Jimenez Arms 22. I have a JA-22 and just bought a J-22 with a chrome finish and wood grips. Pimp gun.

The Berretta finish is in good shape, the discoloration on the finish is not rust. I did not have time to clean it before I went back to Iraq. I will chase a magazine down when I go home.

Well, I made it home from Iraq, only to get sent to Fort Polk for a month. While browsing a pawn shop in beautiful downtown Leesville I asked the owner if he had a jennings magazine. Sure he said, how many are you looking for. I bought two for the costs of $21.00. So once I get home I hope to give both a work out.
