I just ordered a Savage .17HM2, and I haven't taken delivery of it yet. I also ordered a Leupold 3-9x33mm EFR scope.
I need help with a couple things. What kind of bases are on this thing, and what kind of rings do I need. I'd prefer to stick to Leupold rings, I'm just trying to figure out what type is appropriate.
Also, where can I find extra magazines? Are these the same magazines as the Mark II .22lr rifles?
While I'm at it, where's the preferred place to order ammo?
