hello,

I was looking at buying a magazine extension for my Stoeger from Nordic components. the thing that worries me is the fact that I have to modify my mag tube in order to make it work. The mag tube right now has a dimple in it to prevent a plastic end cap from falling out. I don't have any problem doing this kind of work, but I also duck hunt. The plastic end cap holds my duck plug in place. Does anyone know where I could possibly...

1. Buy another original Magazine tube to put into place for duck hunting
2. find components to use different non-factory duck plug

Thanks!

I'd probably go with #2 if you can live with the mag spring being free to jump out at you when you take the end cap off.

Lots of plugs are nothing more then a short section of wood dowel rod dropped down the hole and free to rattle around.

Alternately, you could drill & tap the mag tube cap for a threaded steel or aluminum rod just long enough to limit the mag to two shells.
