I'm sure some of you may have noticed this as well, but the last couple of times I have been watching Fox news after I got home from work I have seen ads for Henry Rifles. I think this is great and plan to e-mail both Henry Rifles and Fox to thank them.

With the way the MSM demonizes gun owners, I doubt any of the MSM channels would have even sold them the advertising time. Although it just may be a case of Henry realizing that the Fox news demographic fits more closely with their target market than that of the MSM news organizations.

Good to see a gun company proudly advertising their products on national TV. :)

I saw the ads this week too and not only on Fox but on Bloomberg and CCN's Headline News (HLN).

Definitely good stuff.

I was so surprised to see guns being advertised on MSM TV I had to go look at the Henry Rifles web site and see what they offer.

Wow! That's surprising. Pleasantly so, but surprising. Although I guess a buck is a buck to these guys.

Maybe we could all chip in a few bucks to back an NRA spot during one of Charlie Gibson's screeds!

Yep...they were on CNN during prime time Tuesday night...during Campbell Brown.

I think they guy with the Jersey accent was the CEO...maybe.

Pre-TV buy!

I get a warm happy feeling know that my big boy 357 is waiting for me at the gun shop, and we're now "celeb's"! I cannot wait to put a few rounds down range.

this past winter I saw their ad on RFDTV and clicked a link on their website to thank them for sponsoring programs on RFDTV. The next morning I had a thank you from Anthony Imperato. Needless to say, I was impressed that the president of the company sent me an email-

That was enough to convince me to purchase a Henry-

I ordered the catalog after seeing the ad on Fox, and there's a space to email the president of the company so I did. Got a great response from him, and now I do want a Henry Rifle in 44 mag!

I saw the ad on late night tv in April and after some reading up on the net I bought my 12 year old Grandson a Golden Boy for his birthday, and bought the engraved receiver for it. Then of course I had to get a Big Boy .44 mag so we could shoot Henrys together. Great rifles great company great CEO.

I've never seen one of these, are they only for certain states?

A lot of FOX's people are pro-gun.

I traded some live steam train stuff to a guy for a brand new Henry youth. Im 6-1 & 210lbs
& this little youth shoulders better than my 10-22 & is just a blast to go out & shoot. I think he paid $225 for it. I no it was less than $250 shipped to my ffl dealer. Great little gun!!!Ps It was the add that made me do the trade

What's even more astonishing is that Henry makes their rifles in New Jersey!! They recently moved from Brooklyn, NY where they had been making guns for years. I've been shooting my Golden Boy in Cowboy Action competition for years. There is NO slicker .22 lever gun than a Henry.

I'm still amazed that Winchester (well Olin) hasn't found a way to sue the bejeezus out of them for trying to Associate themselves with the Original Henry rifle as much as they do. To my knowledge their is no actual link whatsoever--if someone could correct me if I'm wrong I won't be offended.

Other than that they seem to be a good company but every time I see those adds they make me think of the old Picante sauce adds where the cowboy says, "this stuffs made in New York City....get a rope!"

The "Henry" has no historic nor mechanical similarities with the model 1860 Henry rifle.

Very very interesting...... May have to get a Henry to reward this bold action

Yessir! That's my reaction to it as well. I've been seeing that ad on several channels late at night and in primetime too. Not just of Fox channels either.

Cane:"The "Henry" has no historic nor mechanical similarities with the model 1860 Henry rifle".

So what? It's the company name today and therefore every bit a "Henry" rifle.

I have seen the ad several times on CNBC and on MSNBC (yes, Olbermann, my daily anti-O'Reilly vaccine!).

My friend recently bought a Henry 22 and really likes it.

Well, I know that a trademark has a longer life than a patent but I doubt that any trademark bought by Winchester in 1860 something would have much effect today, 150 years later, especially not since the purchase ended the production of the rifles by their original name..seems like the company name is or was free for the taking much as that of the original Ballard rifle company and who knows how many others.

Want to build and sell a car and name it a Studebaker? Who's gonna' stop you, go for it.

I saw an insert (like in a newspaper) only we received it in the mail with other advertisments. My wife was paging thourgh the junk mail when I saw to my amazement rifles in the midst of detergent and fastfood adds. More ups to the Henry company.
