Daly HP 9mm

I recently traded my SW9VE for the Charles Daly HP and would like to know if anyone has any experience with it. (I don't have a lot of money and was just trying to do a little upgrade) I have had it to the range several times and have not had a malfunction. The one drawback that I have is that it has "Xpress Sights" mounted as standard. Because I am an old shooter I cannot get accustomed to them so they will be changed out for adjustable type.

I have one, the sights take a bit of getting used to, I'm partial to the tritium Novak-style of sights, and the ExPress sights just leave me looking where??
The trigger is a touch grittier than I am used to, but I have been spoiled by my FM framed/FN slide hybrid (yes, it is ugly, but it is accurate, that makes up for the ugly finish in my book).

Cliff47....have you checked on installing another site system? I, in the past, have fired many pistols and I find the Daly very interesting for the money. I wish there was a forum for the HP. I agree with you on the trigger. I guess I'll have to find a "smith" to help me. Once she is finally tuned in...I think it'll be a great pistol for the money....

The HiPowers and Handguns has a forum that discusses the Hi-Power and variants (www.hipowersandhandguns.com). I really miss the old Hi-Power forum, a lot of knowledge went away with that forum being hacked. There is another that is trying to pick up on that niche, BFN Hi-Power (wwp097.ezboard.com/bfnhipower).
