Hey Glock Owners

Sold my G19.

Bought it because Glocks were supposed to be a wonder gun. Bad ergonomics, and I hated the trigger.

The thing felt like a 2x4 in my hand.

My shooting group own the G 17, 19, 22, 23, & 35 between them, but they always are coming over to fire my Berettas, Sigs, and Kimber

Berettas not ergonomical, Kimber is over priced, Sigs are are fine weapon, and Glocks are number one!:D

I consider myself a closet Glock owner. My 36 spends 99.99% of the time in the closet locked up. I've evolved towards other guns I like & shoot more often.

Everyone gets to express an opinion on the board. I hesitate to call any one brand of firearm #1. Glock makes a fine handgun. It just didn't work for me, and a lot of other people.

And, as I already stated. All the Glock owners in my shooting group Like my Berettas, Sigs, and Kimber, along with our other BHP and Para-Ord better than thier own Glocks. Go figure, but then Glocks are #1 aren't they;)

Well I guess I'm entitled to my opinion as well !....#1 ;)

What were my Glocks used for?

The first worked very well and was used to trade to acquire a Beretta.

The second was at first used to hold fired cases in a stovepipe configuration until it was used to acquire a Smith Model 66.

I'd have to say the second was probably an aberration as most Glocks I have seen have functioned reliably out of the box, and that one did better after breaking in. They just don't fit my hands well and I couldn't get to like the trigger. Personal choice I suppose.

G32................Shooting
G36................You Know......shooting
G35(.357sig)...More shooting

Some of us own SIGs, Walters, S&Ws, Colts, Brownings, etc and we still enjoy shooting Glocks. Glocks are quite accurate if you learn to use their trigger.

Mostly used at the range.

I own a few Glocks. Well, sixteen in total. My overall favorite is the G20. The G20 is not only my favorite Glock, but my overall favorite pistol. I own two of them, and a G20C. My next favorite Glock is the G33, and I have two of them. Next up are the G29 (own two) and the G32 (only one), in no particular order. I also own a G26, G17, G19C, G21, G30, G36, G31, and G35 (with aftermarket .357 Sig barrel).

I also own Sigs, Walthers, HK USPs, HK P7s, and a few others. Along with my Glocks, I also enjoy my Sigs and Walthers.

Have: G17 (bedside), G34 (range/plinking), G36 (for the day Ohio gets CCW)
HAD: G27 (too small), G23 & G19 (preferred the feel of a full size frame over the compact's)
in the process of buying a G24 and another G17...

Tamara said it best a month or so back when she said there is a lot to like about a Glock and nothing to love.

After carrying 1911s for over 20 years I gave Glocks a try (for 4 years). I have gone back to the 1911, primarily because I just shoot them better.

I still have my 45 caliber Glocks but I haven't fired one in quite a while. They are safe queens and demo pieces for my classes.

Glock 19 -- range, home defense, and Concealed Carry (when I get around to getting the license)

I have a very old G-17 first generation. I have shot thousands of rounds through it. I can't even begin to guess the number. It has never had a problem. Glock even did some free replacement parts a few years ago. It has a very low serial number. The trigger has been reworked to be 3.5lbs. It takes some getting used to compared to the others. It also took some getting used to being so ugly. I'm still drooling over the Kimbers. Now that is a good lookin gun.

I use the G-17 for home def. and shooting at the range. It has night sites and a few pre-ban mags.

Well, Dave, at least you like Glocks. I feel much the same way about 1911s. They are "ok", I have two and another one order, but I'm sad to say it's not love. Glocks I love. SIGs I love. Some S&Ws I love. Anschutz I love... :)

My favorite Glocks are the G17, G20, G26, G30, G31, G33, G35 (with a KKM .357 barrel). The others I have, and like, but I can't say I love my other Glocks. None are compensated. I don't have the "Long Slides". No .380s. No G18. Oh well.

Gaston would be so proud. Excuse me... I have to hug one of my Glocks.

G21

Mostly used as a gun for the wife until we get her her own pistol. She wants a PPK:)barf:) and I cant bring myself to buy one of those for her. Tryin to get her to the gunshop to feel a Sig P239 which aint much bigger and much preferable.

I also occasionally carry the G21 as a BUG to my Colt.
