Just bought my first Glock and is a model 20,my first Glock and my first 10mm.
My question to all the Glock owners is what after market barrel have you had the best results with,I am looking for a 6inch barrel. Thanks Glen

how about a factory 6" barrel.

Glen,

If you go to lonewolfdist.com, you can find item #GLO-7557 I am pretty sure thats what you are looking for.

Be careful about lonewolfdist.com I recently tried to order a barrel for a Glock 17 for a christmas present back in november (still waiting) and got the run around for 3+ weeks.:fire: They took their barrels that were on backorder 3-4 weeks off the website yet the one I want is still on there.:banghead: They also have horrible customer service. The only time I can get a response for something in stock is when I call them. They dont answer e-mails atleast not mine. It also took 8 days to recieve an order that was placed with a 3 day shipping.:cuss: Their prices are very good but if I could find someone who could match prices on barrels I would never order from them.

I have had great results with Storm Lake and they are half the price of a Jarvis or Barsto. Drop fit and function just fine. Check out www.topglock.com for $98 Storm Lake barrels. Here's the link for the Storm Lake barrles at topglock. http://www.topglock.com/catalog/barrels_stormlake.htm

Here's a couple of pics of my G20

Thanks for the link and pics Lennyjoe that is what I am looking for

Glock makes a factory 6 inch "hunting" barrel.

Yep they sure do. Obviously the barrel will stick out the end of the slide quite a bit, but yes you can maximize your loads using the factory 6" barrel.

Steve

Are you also thinking about threading your 6 inch barrel for adopting a silencer? Or maybe a flashhider or muzzle brake?

I like the idea, but is there anyone building a flash hider in 10mm? I thing there are some cans out there that were designed for the MP5 10mm...

I'd rather have the Storm Lake 6" over the factory Glock especially if your a reloader. The Storm Lake chamber is tighter and supports the brass better.

You'll still notice an increase in fps with the 6" barrel. Doubletap makes good hard cast hunting loads as well and the 6" barrel will complement them.

Trade in

I was gonna see what I could get out of this deal: My Sig P220 w/ night sights, 3 Novac 8rnd mags and the case - for a Glock 20 10mm and maybe an extra mag or two?? What do you think I will get out of the deal? Btw, I paid $620.00 when I bought it with 2 7rnd mags and case. I added the 8 rnd mags and night sights.

Sorry to hear you had problems with them,I have not had any problems with lone wolf and I am very happy with them,I buy all my glock stuff from them.:D

Lone Wolf (LWD) conversion barrels

I'm with Rebel on Lone Wolf's products and service. I've ordered two conversion barrels from them for my Glocks. The rep I dealt with was great and the correct barrels arrived within 3 days of my order. Both barrels dropped in and functioned perfectly. If you check on Glock Talk, the overwhealming opinion on LWD is favorable. :)

Crazy, be careful not to shoot hardcast with the stock poly riflings of the Glock. They will pack up and cause serious press. build up albeit lube or lead. I picked up a KKM 6" bbl for shooting Mikes 200grn hardcast that he gets in surplus from Beartooth Bullets--go to Glock Talk and search this information out. Gets abit wild over there but they know there stuff.
