This is my new Blackhawk CQC SERPA holster. Yes, Skunkabilly, that is carbon fiber! :D

Bought one of those at the USPSA Nationals...quite a spiffy holster, and the draw (even with that solid retention device) is very fast. Used it....the next weekend (with no practice)...to win the area Sheriff's Department competition.

LOL I got a few PMs, e-mails and even a phone call from the show room floor from THR members early this year when they were announced

I want one but there is none for the Beretta Brigadiers and the belt size is 2" too large :(

Everytime I see carbon fiber, doesn't matter what it is, I think of Skunky.

You should get into RC cars, tons of aftermarket carbon fiber parts for the popular ones.

I've always wondered: Does the tacticality of an item go up based on the percentage of carbon fiber content?

And what about the polymer itself? Does that make a difference?

For gun stuff no, for car stuff, it gives it extra horsepower.

I like carbon fiber because I think it looks neat. The 'tacticaller than thou' crowd online have bent it into something that people who don't train as much as them buy to substitute for training. Then train some more.

I gotcha on the more tactical than thou thing. I think most of it is pretty tongue in cheek, though, as was my fiber content question.

Skunkabilly doesn't have any "tactical tupperware"? I can't believe it! :D

Blackhawk's website says the Beretta version of the holsters will be available November 04.
