Hi all! and Sig P6?

Hi I am new to the site but I have owned and shot firearms for a while now. I just picked up a Sig P6 and was wondering if anyone new where I could find P6 magazines not the P225. I know they are the same thing I am just a little COD. COD is the same as OCD but in alphabetical order.

hahaha; COD is not in alphabetical order?? that is unless I forgot the alphabet...

I can't tell you for sure but my guess is that any P6 mags you find will be labeled P225/P6; do the mags even have markings on them that identify them as P6 mags and not P225 mags or are they unmarked except for Sig??

The mags do have "P6" stamped into the floorplate, at least the factory ones do.

Yep; I just did a quick google and couldn't find any for sale that were specifically posted for sale for the P6 rather than P6/P225.

The factory sells the 225 mags.

There is a guy on the Sigforum that sells the 225 mags from time to time for something around 32-34 bucks. I think the factory is selling close to 45-50 bucks.

Going rate on gunbroker around 35-40bucks for the 225's.

Hard to find the P6 mags, every pistol comes with two, I've noticed a lot of pistols for sale with just one.

The other one's got to be somewhere.

Yeah I am retarded COD is not in alphabetical order!

But anyways the reason I am trying to be so anal is that the shop that I got the P6 from had it refinished and it only came with one mag. And if I were going to have another mag refinished I would rather do it to one or two that said P6 on it.

I suspect your best bet for P6-marked magazines would be to post in the buy/sell section of this forum, maybe some other popular ones like ar15.com. Maybe offer trade for P225-marked mags.

Looks nice; try posting a wanted to buy on sigforum. My google search returned a wanted to sell P6 mags from sigforum but it was too old.
