No, it doesn't really exist. It's just a figment of my sick imagination.

I've been thinking. Hi-Points are probably the cheapest new handuns in the world. If they came in the cheapest caliber out there, would that not be the ultimate plinker? Plastic and alloy construction works fine in .22 rifles.

They would be so cheap, the NRA could give them away with memeberships instead of stupid hats...

So, if Hi-Point made a .22 pistol, would you buy it?

hi point

sure would. i got a c9, jhp 45, and a 9mm carbine. ugly guns everyone of them, but they always go bang and they're the cheapest plinkers i've found.

I've had pretty good results from my C-9 Comp, I'd be willing to give it a shot.

No way. Nearly anyone can afford a $200 gun if they really want to.

.22

The only down side I could see is that it would be too heavy for a good .22. That said, my Heritage .22 revolver is the same weight as my .45 Hi Point. Go figure.

I think it would be a great idea for Hi-Point to make a .22 so more people would be introduced into shooting for a small price. Too many "experts" tell newbies to buy a .357 and shoot .38 specials, or to buy a 1911 .45. Hi-Point offers inexpensive, not cheap, weapons for home defense and plinking in a nice variety of calibers, why not add a .22 to their lineup.

Buy American!

I can't say that I would. While I'm all for a good product at a low price, my Ruger's fulfill that role very nicely.

While the carbine isn't that bad, the pistols literally make me want to :barf:

I am not a gun snob by any means (Lord knows I don't have the funds to be one), but they do NOT appeal to me at all.
