Took my new Hi Point 9mm carbine that I bought this past weekend out yesterday evening. Put about 50 rounds through it and it worked flawlessly and was deadly accurate right out of the box. Not too bad for a tad over $200.

I've been wanting one of those ugly little things for quite a while now. Just don't want to buy it on GunBroker and have it sent to my FFL. I've worked for my integrity...don't want to blow it by having a Hi-Point 995 shipped to him! :neener:

I've have to find one someone local wants to sell, or at a local gun show.

dam i wish Hi piont would come out with the 45acp carbine. it will never happen

I actually hated mine, huh maybe i got a bad one but i couldn't got threw 5 or 6 rounds without it jamming. traded it in for an sks and even that thing is giving me problems. ive just had bad luck with autoloaders

Had one, it worked great, as advertised. Cheap, not pretty, very functional, very reliable. I ended up selling it after the novelty wore off for me.

I like having a 9mm carbine, especially one that is reasonable in price & works so well! I don't care for their pistols at all as I prefer a decocker..! I reload 9mm so it's cheap to shoot & a blast at the range. I own 2 30M1s as well but this is a HOOT (as said above). My Chronograph showed a 200+fps gain over my Ruger 95 & CZ75 with same loads, for anyone (like me) who just wants to know.
All I can say is I like the weight & feel. It's comfortable to hold, shoots to point of aim (mine came w/ laser too), feeds all my stuff readily, so I just like to shoot it. More like a toy for me as I have more serious guns in all styles, but I got a great trade on it NIB & I enjoy shooting it. What more could you want..?.. "DOC"

I love pistol caliber carbines! A buddy of mine got me hooked a two years ago by letting me shoot his hipoint 4095 and rossi .357 lever action. I picked up a keltec sub2k in .40 afterwards. The plan is to pick up the new 995TS this fall and a puma .45 colt in the spring.
