I picked up a Hi-Point in .45ACP a couple of years ago.

Never a FTAnything, accurate, ok trigger.

Just stay away from aluminum cased ammo, they dont run well with'em.

Okay they're ugly and heavy, but givem a break.

People either love Hi-Point or loathe them.

I love mine. The first gun I ever owned. Got it for $100, 5+ years ago. Never had a FTF probably have over 3000 rounds through it.

While I would not carry this as a CCW(too heavy, and I have a commander 1911 for that) it has been a very reliable handgun.

I also have the Hi-Point 9mm carbine rifle(which is now essentially the wife's) and it is extremely accurate and has never failed to fire(except with some bad ammo, which is the ammos fault, not the weapons).

Glad you like yours.

I got a Hi Point 9mm carbine to play with and it seems to shoot OK but man is it a piece of junk. Nothing about this thing is quality and every time I shoot it I am waiting for pieces to fall off it. The trigger is garbage and I've seen better quality in most of the commie junk. I would expect more from an American Firearm manufacture then this junk.

Just my opinion though.
