I recently acquired the 995TS and the 4095Ts Hi-Point carbines.
There is a lot of movement in my 4095's magazine when it's inserted in to the handle.
Is this reason for concern or is there an easy fix such as wrapping a layer or two of duct tape around the mag for support?
Any recommendations will greatly be considered. Thank you

Have you tried another mag?

I've heard Hi Point has great customer service, so could always go that route.

I'd try getting the loose mag to malfunction (wiggle while firing, rapid fire, putting pressure on it while firing). If it doesn't cause an issue then its probably fine.

In regards to the rest of the thread from 2009, has anyone started making quality high cap. mags for the Hi Points since then? Seems like a HUGE market for 15, 20, 25, or even 30/32 round magazines for A LOT of Hi Points out there.

Also would like to say the Hi Point is a cool gun from what I've seen. Its low-priced, American-made, and reliable. Its a good option for those who cannot afford something more expensive.

Never had a bit of trouble with mine. Sold in when I was taking a break from the gun hobby (JEEP), but wouldn't hesitate to buy another if I find one at the right price and have funds to blow.

I've made the OP and the responses into their own thread since this a separate discussion from the 5 year old thread it was first posted into.
