Hi-Point Slide lock

With the Hi-Point 9mm series pistols, does the slide lock back after the last round is fired?

Mine wasn't locking back, I called, they sent me a part for free. Haven't tested to see if it fixed it or not, but gotta love that service!

mine isnt locking either. Who did ya call?
How hard is it to instal?

In my case, it was a small spring attached to the lock-back lever thingy on the left side. Easy to install after removing the grip.

Hi-Point has telephone and email contact info on their website. They're pretty darn helpful folks.

Also look at the cutout in the slide for the slide lock. Sometimes the powder coating is so thick, a little slot wears into it at the edge of this cutout and causes the lock open to not engage.
