While I don't shoot sporting clays, I don't see how a HI VIZ sight could hurt. I have the M300 model that is a magnetic mount that comes with 4 light pipes of the larger rather than smaller diameter. Smaller diameter light pipes can be bought separately though. The 3 small magnets are very strong and it doesn't move when I'm shooting plates with a 20 ga. This model is for medium ribs and fits all Remingtom field models with ribs from 7/32" - 5/16" (.21875 - .3125, 5.7mm - 8.2mm). When mounted the light pipe is slightly higher than the original bead on my 870. It cost me a little over $20.

I shot a friends Beretta last week and it was the first time I had ever shot a gun with a hiviz sight. Well I just bought one for my Red Label but I haven't tried it yet. Lets just say I was much more aware of the muzzle in relation to the target. Not concentrating on it but using it for better reference. I'm hoping it will help me.

I have the problem of looking at my barrel instead of the target sometimes, and I think a bright bead would only exacerbatesp the problem. I try to forget my barrel is there and just shoot the blasted clays....I always break them when they hit the ground, though.

For wingshooting, anything that moves focus from the target(and the leading molecule of the target at that) is counter productive. With good technique,fit and form, no beads will give the same scores or better.
Spend the money on ammo instead, and learn to focus on the target.

Stick with the bead sight.
I have a fiber optic sight on my dad's Beretta 686 Onyx Pro. I get distracted by the fiber optic, two bright colors clash (green FO, orange bird). To me, the bead is far more useful than a Fiber Optic.

I am totally down on Fiber optic sights! They sure look good to these old eyes BUT ALL that I put on every, rifle pistol and shottgun have been SMASHED in handling. Good for a safe queen sight IMHO! :banghead:
