I have an opportunity to purchase from my dealer a High Standard Dura-Matic M101 .22 autoloading pistol. It has a 4 1/2 inch barrel, is blued, and appears to be in very good condition. I have done some research and these pistols go for around $259 - $359 it seems.
The grips look good, the blueing is un-scratched, and the barrel appears bright and clean.
I am just looking at it as a curio and plinker. These pistols were manufactured between 1954 and 1970, but I don't know how old this one is. It seems like a good deal. They are really neat looking guns and feel real good in the hand. The trigger is excellent. What do you folks think? Attached is a pic of what one looks like.
