Looking for input on a potential purchase. Looking for a fun shooter that I can rub with a diaper and have fun with, while increasing value. I found this high standard trophy 106 military. High polish, 1968 model. With numbered box. There is some wear to the side of the barrel, said to be from transporting the gun in the original box. I'm wondering what % condition this might be? Would you stay away because of the wear on the barrel as a collector gun? Thanks and Merry Christmas!!

High Standard 22 short Conversion Kit available

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=322733969 The $900 price seems high to me, after watching Gunbroker for a while. What i dont like about mine, you have to adjust the sights after removing the barrel for cleaning. Its a pain when trying to hit the X at 50yds. Should have kept the Victory or S&W 41. My mistake when thinning the herd. How about a 22 short conversion kit to go with your new purchase? - :D http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=322269010 22ShortHighStandard2.gif

Price seems high. High Standard does make some amazing guns though in my experience. I'm just too cheap to pay over $350 for a .22lr pistol.
