Nice going Hillary.
You're a class act all the way.:fire:

Hillary and Gandhi

Yet another reason why I don't like her.
Where does she get off doing something like that?
Oh wait, She did marry Bill.

Bill and Hillary meeting God

Bill: “Lord, I know I made mistakes, and that I could have been a better man… but believe me, I did the best I could.

Hillary: “Excuse me …you’re in my chair.â€

Scratch an elitist left-winger and you'll find a racist. "Oh those poor brown people. All they need is a hand from us nice rich white folk and then they'll be happy!"

Gag.

You don't make off-the-top-of-the-head comments like 'hymietown' and this 'Ghandi in the gas station' crap unless that's how you think. She thinks that way, and is constantly forcing herself to talk the talk. But once in a while, the truth slips out.

Have you heard her attempts to raise her voice in the Senate?
When a male senator raises his voice, it gets lower in pitch and booms authority

When she raises her voice, it gets higher, shriller and she sounds like a nagging shrew.

Remember how voice timber effected the Kennedy/Nixon debates?
I kinda doubt America will ever vote for her.
She sounds wrong.

I don't get it at all. What was she trying to say?

Don't forget, if we don't want to be the PC police, don't get all high and mighty when Hillary gets un PC. Now someone explain the joke to me so I know what is happening.

I've read the quote of what she said, and... it makes no sense and isn't funny. I mean, it is a really dumb, lame joke. Here it is:

Clinton said: “And as I introduce her I want to end with her favorite quote, because I love this quote. It's from Mahatma Gandhi. He ran a gas station down in St. Louis for a couple of years. ‘Mr. Gandhi, you still go to the gas station? Lot of wisdom comes out of that gas station.’â€

And can you imagine the media outcry if a non-liberal had made that remark? Are Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson going to call her a racist? Will the L.A. Times, USA Today or New York Times run editorials calling for her resignation? Will Al Franken say this proves she's unfit to hold public office? Will she be shunned by her Hollywood friends? Hillary will never be held accountable for this remark because of the media "double standard". The reason the left coined the term "vast right wing conspiracy" was to divert attention from the real conspiracy, that of the "vast liberal media".

uhh.. Sportcat, the clinical term is Cankle.. as in you dont know where the ankle and calf separate.... walk behind enuff big gals and you'll see..

yep.. "hymietown" Jackson and "N word" Byrd ought to be reallyy upset and calling for her ouster

and a man making a funny to a 100 year old befuddled man get stripped of his leadership position... although Lott was good at bending over for the Dems anytime they wanted

You don't make off-the-top-of-the-head comments like 'hymietown' and this 'Ghandi in the gas station' crap unless that's how you think.

To set the record straight: It was Jesse Jackson decades ago who (when running for president for the twefth time) stated he had no chance to win in New York because it was "hymietown".

He denied it for a while, then admitted it. Public radio then did a program on the origin of the word "hymie" and it's coming into usage that was actually interesting.

darn sure if a conservative said this they would be in the hot seat for a long time
she will be forgiven by the media promptly im sure
promptly? $10 says it won't even be a major issue so there won't be any forgiveness to be given:banghead:

Hillary is a dumbass.

Did she then go on to apologise stating that a man such as Gahndi would never work in such close proximity to Bin Laden?

Did she apologize? Sort of, she said that she was sorry everyone misunderstood what she was trying to say. See she thinks were all not smart enough to get her little joke. They never apologize for what they said just that you misunderstood it. Keep it up Hillary youll be a lock in 2008.

I saw this on the CNN web site. They reported it but sort of glossed it over. What was she thinking? I work with many Indian people in the software business and they are all hardworking, respectful, smart, and pleasant. Down my street, there is a convenience store owned and run by an Indian fellow and his family. Hardest working people I know. No shame to run a gas station or convenience store, but Gandhi was hardly that.

Gandhi was an educated lawyer and then politician that fought against all manner of racial discrimination and colonialism, first in South Africa, and then in India. He was either loved or hated but no one made a joke of him. This clearly points out Hillary's inept social skills and insensitivity. God help us if she ever becomes president.

I found the whole thing, despicable.

The CNN article totally glosses it over. I usually don't make a big deal about the big media bias, but this one takes the cake. Even the Indians protect her.
I don't think she was, in any way, trying to demean Mahatma Gandhi," Naef said. "To be generous to her, I would say it was a poor attempt at humor.
Yeah you were generous to her alright. Way too generous.
