TBH I didn't like Brad that much, but he seemed to get better after the bow/arrow challenge. Iain has me intrigued, and I really like JJ. Havent seen the musket one yet.

I really hope Denny wins. :)

Can't wait for the 'peacemaker' episode.

I agree with most everyone here, our type of folks don't need or like the engineered in drama of reality shows.

The reality TV formula depends upon drama between competitors. It is a proven method for holding viewers and increasing ratings. Top Shot would probably be a better show without the emphasis on this silliness. However, it is about the only game in town and an enjoyable show despite the drama.

Damn... I could not stand listening to that obnoxious, plotting, sneaky punk say "ratfink". That guy is immature as it gets and Kelly hit the nail right on the head.

I wish Caleb would have beat him, he needed a nice slice of humble pie. This is a show about shooting to be the best, not weaseling your way to the finish line like a little punk. Those short jokes were getting old FAST. I hope he watches this episode and realizes just how stupid he came off.

I enjoy Caleb's Podcast and look forward to hear what he has to say about this elimination.

Adam was beating the "ratfink" bit into the ground. Even making a comment to the effect of "in the Marines tattling wasn't tolerated" Now I never served (blew up my ankle- they wouldn't take me) but it seems to me that plotting against a teammate is even more reprehensible.

While I agree that the "rat" crap was a little too much. However, I strongly believe in everyone minding their own business. Especially when a $100,000 prize is at stake. Caleb should not have ran to everyone telling of the "plot".

In any case, I really liked the challenge with the Kentucky Rifles. Who was it saying that they are accurate to 300 yds? Guess not...

The rope challenge was entertaining. I wondered how many shots of .44 it will take to cut it. So, 4 it is.

I enjoy the show a lot despite all the nonsense. Looking forward to the next week's episode.

They sure hurried through the shooting to get to the petty sniping and backstabbing.

Three shots with a flintlock is hardly enough "practice" to get on target. Not to mention changing guns when the original cheapie starts misfiring (NOT "hangfire.")

Cutting a rope with a bullet (bullets!) is not easy or quick, as seen. Could not have had a better Mythbuster to debunk the movie scene.

Yeah ratfinking is not allow but treason is? Guy is a weasel. he cannot beat the top guys, he knows it, so he is gonna try and take them out with a cheap shot.

Anyway, I tell you, I would LOVE to have gone through either of the competitions. The Kentucky would have been FUN to try. Also, the rope shot (I would probably still be there trying to shoot it), would be fun to try with that rifle.

As always, I LOVE the competition but the drama just got me so ticked off.

Yea they lost me with all the stupid drama last night. I literally stopped watching after that tool said ratfink for the 50th time. I swear that's like your buddy getting mad at you when he cheats on his wife and you won't lie for them. It's like dude - your just mad cuz you got caught - now shut up already.

Anyway I think I'm done watching now.

So you missed it when he spelled it out in cards on the pool table. He was acting like he was 12. I managed to hold on to the end of the show but really, if the next one is like that, I am done with it. I will just watch the shots on youtube posts.

Way too much petty drama. One might interpret that Adam and Bill (previous episode), had anger management issues. This doesn't reflect well on them as firearms instructors/experts.

It's understandable and necessary to have a human element in a reality-based TV show. However, the producers should give more credit to the general public that those who watch the show may like to see more about the history and construction of various firearms and what it takes to shoot them.

Absolutely, I would have love to heard more on the Kentucky, its use, construction, etc. than watched embellished drama. I am sure they add more than there would be. I had a coworker who was on Judge Judy, and they really milked that to add more drama than the case had when it was in normal court.

Caleb's exit and Adam's histrionics ("You're a rat fink for ratting out that I was going to sell out our teammates!!!!1!!") have downgraded this show from "Watch it live every weekend" to "Catch it on TiVo during the week" in our household.

It's a shame, too, because this show really had a chance to show off the shooting sports in a positive light. Now we look like a bunch of petulant children.

As bad as it was, it's no different than every other group out there. There's always going to be a bunch of boneheads associated with every sport, hobby, etc.

If anyone here knows that Adam guy, though, they to tell him what an absolute crybaby he is. That was embarrassing. Of course, it could have been scripted that way.

"I'm an ex-marine and you're short and were only in the Coast Guard!"

I guess we're seeing that some of the contestants weren't picked for their skills, but for their massive ego and lack of self control. I'll watch another week or two. It may be that the people with actual skills will start voting out the posers and the show will improve.
Last nights how was pretty dismal, but the shooting (what little they showed) was credible. I imagine it's not easy to hold a flintlock on target with so little practice. Why can't they just issue each player with a firearm and let them practice for a day?

Adam was a real db. I just wish that someone, from his own team, would have put him in his place and told him to shut up. If he continues to be on the show I will probably stop watching it. I just hope that he gets voted off pretty soon.

Shows like this where there is a team element to it but there is more of an individual element really create a lot of drama. There needs to be a balance like TUF where there is a team element but at the end the best wins.

Look on the bright side. This show showed two people, with guns, that absolutely hated each other but managed to resolve their differences without shooting the other person.

The shooting part of last nights episode was cool the '73 winchesters shooting the rope was really interesting.
As far as Adam-he is a punk & a crybaby. He is lucky that Caleb was nice about things. All the name calling & short jokes got old quick.
I wonder if any of these people have thought about the fact that how they comport themselves on this nationally televised show could haunt them for years to come. I would think even if you didn't win you would want to make sure you made a favorable impression on people.

Earlier on I said I was going to give this show a chance. It's had it. This is one of the worst reality shows I've ever watched, and the gun stuff leaves a lot to be desired.

The flintlock rifle they were using looked to me like a very cheap reproduction. No wonder the lock wouldn't ignite reliably. You would think they could afford a decent rifle that would actually fire. Notice that once they started using Gary James' flintlock that it didn't misfire.
A quality flintlock or caplock is capable of astonishing accuracy. Nothing at all like what was shown last night.
