LGS has P2000sk (AI or 2008) for sale. Asking $575. It's not marked on the tag but it appears to be a LEM. I tried it out and long, easy takeup, hit the wall, Bang! DA on followup if I want. No traditional single action.

I'm ditching a PX4 subcompact and selling a S&W 3914 to buy this one. I've fallen in "like" with an HK P30 V3 and wouldn't mind this in my carry rotation.

The gun looks in good shape and it fits me well.

Anyone have any experience shooting the LEM? I normally carry a Smith CS9, 4513, or 9mm PX4compact. How long did it take folks to get used to the LEM. I've carried regular striker-fired guns for a while (Shield and Sig 320) but am now more comfortable with hammer guns. (And does the price sound fair?)

Not much choice in that matter.

I do have the same gun, I prefer the LEM over any of their other DA/SA offerings. Buttttttt the LEM is one of those love it or hate it type things for the masses.
I didnt find it too difficult to transition and I shoot mainly 1911's + other SAO's and Glocks.

I’ve got a P30SK with a LEM trigger. I really Ike that system and I found after two range sessions of 300-400 rounds each, running it to reset was no different than a traditional DA/SA trigger. It’s a good self defense setup IMO.

I carry it in winter.

The P2000SK has no decocker so there is no DA if you want. The only time you will experience DA with a live round in the chamber is if the hammer falls and the round does not go off allowing second strike capability. I have a P30SK LEM and really like LEM for a carry pistol but prefer the traditional DA/SA for my P30L and HK45. As always it is best to try out LEM via live fire before you buy. Local gun store has a lot of HKs but not any LEM very often as according to them it just is not a good seller.

I hated LEM in practical shooting. Dry fire felt great. When actually shooting something about the reset and movement of the hammer drove me insane.

LEM seems to be love or hate with no middle ground. I am in the hate camp. All that said it is a perfectly good system that does exactly what it should. It’s all personal pref.

As for the P2000 it is far and away my favorite handgun platform.

Don't have a P2K-SK, but do carry a P2K LEM and have 2 other HK LEMs (HK35 and a P30L).

The LEM is positively my favorite defensive trigger. All of mine are the light variant, my P series have had reset reductions. My P30L is a V0, which means I retained the spurred hammer and de-cocking function. It has a double strike capability for what it's worth.

I have P2000SK LEM in 9mm and P2000 SA/DA in .40. Both are great to me. The .40 is more accurate but I like 9 for carry.
