OK so I've been contemplating this for a long time, and more so since all this talk of a possible new AWB started going round. I have a HK USC that I bought a few years ago and I'm thinking I might sell it, but I have some questions first. Its the blackened version with top and bottom rail and low four digit serial number 0047**(although I'm not sure if that makes a difference), but my questions are these.

What could I expect to get for it?
What would be a worthy replacement? (I've been considering a PS90)
Or...
Should I just hang on to it, because if I ditch it I'll regret it down the line?

My only real problems with the gun is the fact that you can only buy 10rd mags and I don't care for the thumbhole stock (everytime I look at the gun it reminds me of the AWB we just went through) and I'd like to forget those times. I've looked at the conversion kits out there but its more than I want to spend and go through, I'd rather just sell it and buy something new, or keep and save up for something else. I just don't know what to do:banghead:

Thoughts?.....

I sold my usc and my sl8 last december for the same reasons. I replaced them with a ptr91 and a dsa fal. If the awb comes I would rather have these and magazines for both of these rifles are very cheap so they are easy to stock up on if the awb comes. Great rifle but I have no regrets selling mine. I sold mine for 900 a piece with acessories so I practically gave them away. They were sold in less than 2 hours after posting for a ftf only. My one regret is I should have asked for more probably 1100.

They do/did make a conversion kit for the USC to make it look like a UMP and take grease gun mags or modified grease gun mags. Been awhile since I've looked into them.

SchHrdKncks, they also made a conversion for the SL8 to make it an HK36 clone.

I've seen both of them after being converted go for over $2000 on Gunbroker. NIB unconverted I've seen the USC go for around $1500-$1800. Don't seem to lose much value either.

As I mentioned in the beginning, it's been awhile since I've looked into this. So I may be off.
