H&K

I haven't owned the Sig. I have owned the USP H&K Tactical 9mm. As all H&K's it was somewhat "bulky". But that was the only negative. Absolutely reliable, absolutely accurate, great ergos, easily racked (that's a huge plus to me any more). The Gentleman that I traded it from was so filled with sellers remorse he desperately wanted it back. Feeling badly for him - I sold it back to him. Now I'm the one with sellers remorse. By the way, that Gentleman, has several very high end pistols of both 1911's and others. I'm talking pistols that are several thousand $$$ each (such as Springfield Professionals etc.). Yet he was heart broken to sell the H&K Tactical 9mm. Yes it was that good. That was the 4th H&K I've owned and I much preferred the 9mm to the .45 caliber. I'm actively looking for another.

As an aside, I was recently told that the US Gov't. paid H&K $17 million $$$ to design the H&K. Then only a few thousand ended up in the militarizes hands. The cost averaged to over $17,000 for each H&K received. Well the pistols reflect that $17 million $$$ in design and development cost. They are a GREAT pistol. I personally was not over whelmed by the first three H&K .45's I owned. And I actively hated the one with the LEM trigger. However, the 9mm
for some reason just grew and grew on me. Go figure, guess I'm just weird.
