I inherited a HK4 380 from my Dad. I took the gun out to shoot last week and the HK4 jammed. Disassembled the HK4 and found the disintegrated pieces of the buffer and the buffer plate bent. I ordered a buffer from Numrich and but am still in need of a buffer plate.

I could unbend the buffer plate flate assuming the plate was flat.

Any recommendations of where I can find a Buffer Plate?

Can't offer a whole lot, but since no one else seems to know...

Best I could do is redirect you here or here.

Wish I could help you more.

Best of luck with it.

I believe the plate is flat. It slides right in with the buffer with two dimples. I don't recall whether there is a slight ridge at the bottom, but I think it's flat. If you need I can check mine.

This is a good reminder that when you buy an HK4 or HK P9S the first thing that you want to do is check the condition of the buffer. I just saw a photo of an HK4 that had a bad buffer that resulted in the frame snapping in half. When I acquired my P9S and HK4 I ordered the buffers right away and replaced them as a matter of course. I also ordered spares but these buffers should last for years. I'd also wonder what cleaners like GunScrubber do to buffers, although I don't use them on the P9S and HK4.
