Watching a movie “The Midnight Sky” set in 2049. Clooney shooting a ? Looks like a Marlin 336 CS with a white skeleton butt stock and a square muzzle block?
Anyone have any info?

Why in hell would anyone watch and pay for any movie with Clooney. He has supported and contributed to anti-gun programs and announced he was happy to learn that Charlton Heston was suffering with dementia..

Chuck's reply was golden: "It just goes to show that sometimes class does skip a generation".

Thanks riomouse 911 and others.
Yeah I would have liked to see him load up too
I’m not a Clooney fan!!!! But he is a good actor, just has serious mental issues as a person!
I’ve learned to separate the two.
Despite his personal stand against guns, he had no problem with its role in the movie as a method of self preservation or even taking a life with it

I just saw another Netflix movie —-Wind River
This one with an unmodified 45-70 1895 SBL Marlin and a little scene of reloading 500 gr cartridges.

Wind River

That’s a relatively rough one to watch. I’m a fan of Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen, in general, and a few of the type cast Native actors - although Bernthal isn’t a favorite. But the tragic reality of the movie is exceptionally disappointing and one of those things which makes me really question human nature. I do, however, appreciate the juxtaposed expressions of machismo as well as comradery. Not a high action, high entertainment value blockbuster, but a great human story, with an incredibly dark reality.

The gunplay in the movie is highly dramatized, but honestly never seems so terribly outlandish that it throws me out of the plot... although I suppose he does shoot a little farther with that Guide Gun than might seem practical a few times, even for a guy like me who likes to stretch his Guide Gun to ~300+.
