Where can a guy go to find the metal clips used on IWB holsters?

I need two of them for an idea I've got.

I've got a real nice pancake holster for my Steyr M40 (made by Mark Waldon), and I was thinking I could bolt two holster clips to the belt slots and it just might work as an IWB holster, but I can't find the holster clips anywhere (and I'd need to be able to buy just two of them, not a box of 50).

I'm also having a hard time finding the nut/bolt combo things I'll need to fasten the clips to the holster, but I'm not sure what they are called. They have broad, flat heads and are tightened with a hex wrench. One part is a bolt, the other looks like a bolt but is hollow and has threads inside (if anyone happens to know what these things are called, and/or can supply me with a picture of them, please post it here).

They are called "Chicago Screws" Why' I have no idea. For the clips, you could just purchase a couple of the cheap, nylon IWB holsters out there and cannibalize. It's an idea, anyway.

Zund, the knife shops carry them, get some kydex sheets while you are at it!

Also check Tandy Leather - they have clips. Buy a wallet for xmas present, too!

Many leather supply stores will carry the metal clips.

Try:

The Leather Factory
Tandy Leather
Weaver Leather

I think they all have websites. DO a search for any of the above names.

Chicago screws and kydex sheet stock can be had from KnifeKits.com.

I might do this for a specialized clip design I've had rolling around in my head.

I've also been playing with a set of Kydex clips I got from Rob Longenecker, who markets Tucker Gunleather. They're pretty sturdy, sized for a 1.5" belt, and have a reasonably agressive angle on the belt hook for reliable retention.

Here's an experiment I've been carrying for a little while. A worn out Galco High Ride Concealable belt slide, with the clips attached to the belt slots using heavy duty zip ties:

Eventually I'll have sorted out what works for me and what doesn't, and I'll have a couple holsters made just the way I like 'em.

PCRCCW is sending me some Chicago Screws and metal holster clips (no, he didn't reveal any industry secrets ;) ).

Once I get it together I'll post some pics and a full report.
