I'm shopping for a holster from my 4" GP100. I'm thinking about a tanker type, or maybe just a hip type. How do you carry your GP100?

I too have the wonderful 4" GP100. Even though they're not thought of highly on here I love my tactical thigh holster. I got it for backpacking, rides low and out of the way of my pack and straps plus the mag pouch makes a great flashlight holder.

Bianchi N0. 5 BHL, a thumbsnap Threepersons holster, black, basketweave

It's my alternative duty gun in a security job. The belt is the old Bianchi River Belt, also black basketweave.

This would also work in the woods, if open carry is allowed or you're on your own land.

For under a casual jacket, the Bianchi Shadow or similar pancake designs are better, but this isn't really a good concealed carry gun for a slim man.

It is a fine general purpose defense and woods gun, ideal also for home defense.

Bianchi N0. 5 BHL for two 4" GP-100's.

I do not CCW the GP-100. Instead I carry it when walking my property, deer and hog hunting. For these activities the Bianchi holster works great.
