Holster for SIG P239

Just got a new toy: SIG P239, and I'm considering a CCW holster for it. I'd like to hear recommendations from other P239 owners: what type/brand of holster do you use, and what do you like about it? Thanks in advance.

Good choice on the 239, I have one in .40 and its my everyday carry gun when the temps are warmer and I wear less clothes. I have 2 holsters for mine. My favorite is a Milt Sparks VersaMax II, it's a great IWB holster that holds the gun nice and tight. I also have a High Noon SkyHigh, OWB which works well also. I just prefer the IWB, since it keeps it concealed a little better.

Milt Sparks Summer Special 2 IWB is really nice. For OWB I like Kramer's Belt Scabbard.

Sig P239 in the 9mm flavor was my choice, the only holster I have for it is a Wild Bills "under cover" IWB, it is a good holster and carries well. While I have not yet placed an order from Gary at Brommelands for a MaxCon V, or Lou Alessi for a PCH, I have both of those holsters for my 1911 and like them better for that gun. Either should make a great carry holster...good luck...

I carry mine in an Alessi Talon Plus, great holster as just about all of Lou's designs are. I really don't see myself buying many holsters that weren't made by Lou or Milt Sparks Inc. The VM-II is awesome and it is very rare you will here someone say they aren't very happy with their's.

Andrews Custom Leather - MacDaniel II

When I had my P239 (357 Sig) I used a MacDaniel II. It's a pretty slick little holster and the just P239 disappears. I sold the P239 so if you're interested I'll sell the holster (has both the 1.25 & 1.5" loops and the body shield option) for $40 + actual shipping. Give me a yell if interested.

I like my High Noon TGS (Tail Gunner with straps) IWB holster. Have used it very sucessfully in IDPA matches, as well as for occasional carry. The best part was that it fit my P239 perfectly right out of the box, with no "conditioning". The only sad part is that delivery time can be long, depending on how busy the factory is.

Jack - I don't have a holster for my P239 yet but I have had really good luck with both Milt Sparks (Watch Six) and Rafter S Holsters or my other guns. Watching this thread to see what others have to say specific to the 239.

You might want to take a look at a Don Hume IWB holster. I'm quite pleased with mine.

Desantis holsters

I like the small Desantis rigs for the SIGarms P-239 models. Other well made designs are available but for a basic holster look over the Desantis line.
