I used to think rossi was a good gun until a guy I know had a dud.
Im sure they are not all bad, He had what looks like the top left pistol in your collection. shooting .38spl +p factory ammo, after 6 rds the hammer was stuck back and would not move. he emptyed the brass, then worked the hammer until it worked and dry fired it 20 times to make sure it would work...
put 6 more in, and the 3rd shot the rear sights vaporized and the hammer was stuck again... this time for good.
He bought it New at a gunshow. I checked it out befor this happened, I thought it had good feel to it, but wouldent want to shoot .357 from it.
He mailed it back to rossi ($35 fedex) and they fixed it and returned it in 45days....
Im not knocking your piece, It just something to look out for. I would put a few hundered rounds down the tube just to be safe. I guess his had a burr somewere and something was wrong with the hammer...
