Bullpups always fascinated me. There is something elegant and minimalistic about these weapons - plus, they are compact, but without any compromises regarding their performance.

Made a new one this weekend, and I am quite happy with the result! I like that it fires full length arrows, and has room for broadheads. Total length is about 34 inches - just two inches longer than the arrows it shoots. Under 4 lb weight, including the red dot sights and rubber bands.

You need wood for about 10 dollars (I used cheap spruce and a bit of plywood), rubber for about 3 dollars, glue for about 2 dollars, a cheap soft toothbrush and some paracord and screws. Power and accuracy is great! This is way more compact than a steel or compound based conventional crossbow.

I filmed the making process and may soon upload a tutorial.

One of the forum members made a list of my "best crossbows" - he features 30 different weapons. I did not realize how many crossbows I made these last few years! But this one ranks high on my own list for sure.

The video also features Geoffroy's knife and also a test of "Shaka Zulu's <...weapon...>" against the body armor. Guess who won? :)
