Chalk it up to old age but I remember (I think) reading a post by a person who told how to make new wooden grips for a CZ52 using a dremel tool. I have searched through 6 other forums and this one and have not found it. I will be forever grateful if someone can give me a link to this post. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about home made grips but I purchased a very nice set of rosewood grips from here -> http://makarov.com/cz52 The grips from makarov.com are not the junk that one finds on ebay
but well made good quality stuff .

Junk? Not all of them...
As one of the major sellers of USA made grips (Mesquite, acrylic and pewter) on ebay I can assure you that our grips are not junk. I purchased a set of Vaquero grips from a well known grip manufacturer (not on ebay) last year and they WERE junk...had "Made in India" stamped on the back.
