Has anyone here considered "what if our government made it illegal to load your own ammunition, like a re-loader would be prohibited from buying primers, powder, bullets, and casings. I have thought about that very situation and I have bullet molds, Lead and bout 4k used primers and written directions of how to make your own primer compound. I have powder, primers and plenty of brass. Our government is not trustworthy when it comes to the 2nd amendment or firearms in general. Better to have it an not need it that to need it and not have it. What say you? Just look at the current situation with reloading components. Just a thought!! I DON'T TRUST THEM.

Our government has closed down one of the largest if not the largest Lead Factory on the east section of the Us.

I hate to say this , but usually these types of "What If" threads get locked after a short time due to basically going nowhere and not having reasonable and helpful info.
With that all being said, I feel like the government would have many, many other things on their hands than worrying about regulating/banning reloading supplies. I do think that what is likely to happen, is that the industry starts limiting shipments of anything reloading related, such as bullets, primers, powder , and brass to one of each item until this ammopocalypse craziness is behind us, which at this point doesn't seem likely to end anytime soon if $3 a round 30-06 ammo at a gunshow is anything to go by... I suggest if this truly worries you, to buy all the cheapest available reloading supplies you are comfortable storing in your house. However, please don't hoard stuff for the sake of hoarding, I urge you to get with some neighbors or friends and start reloading ammo for each other possibly. Thanks for reading, and I usually don't reply to comments this in-depth, but I felt I had to explain my opinion.

''First they came for the bumpstocks, and I thought it was sooo silly -I said nothing.

Then, the came for the high cap mags...'' ......

........

''...so-called 'Ghost guns', and I said that's skirting the law loophole...'' ....

......

'' that arm brace thing is a SBR no matter HOW MANY times it was ruled otherwise...'' ......

''lastly, they came for my single stage press, and there was no one left to help me''

OF WHICH SAVE THE LAST VERSE, has allll been said in one way or another, sometimes more sometimes less, HERE.
