I just purchased a box of these for the first time # 35571, they are a truncated HP. My Horanady #8 manual shows this 124gr XTP # 35571 bullet with a slightly rounded ogive, has something changed?
Is the COL and load data the same? Or am I just seeing things?

I think who ever ... used a graphic that is not a true representation of the 124 grain XTP ....

All the ones I have used are more straight Ogive compared to the graphic ... as far as I know(I only started using the .355" in 2007) they have been the same shape since then ..... I just bought a box right after Christmas and they looked exactly like the thousands I bought before ....

I shoot the XTP 124 grain in my 357 SIG .... Works very well !

I load Hornady XTP's in 45 ACP, 357 and 44 Magnum, and have been since the XTP line was introduced. The nose profiles and the hollow cavity has changed over the years. Their load data that I've used has not changed. I have Hornady manuals going back in time. Just haven't been loading 9MM that long. The major thing changed in XTP's seems to be the rounded nose profile from the straight sides to a sharp angle from the bullet body to the nose. The portion of the bullet that contacts the rifling in my comparisons are the same.

Depends on the bullet... sometimes they use a stock photo for bullets or ammo. My .41 XTP’s still have a rounded ogive, but all of the 9mm Hornady bullets I’ve seen have been straight.

The profile changed on 124 9mm and 45 230 xtp's. The 9mm has changed several times over the decades, as have some rifle bullets.
