Hornady 17 Mach II ammo

Thought you would like to know.....Below is the response to my inquiry about whether or not Hornady is discontinuing the production of Mach II ammo. I grew concerned as this rumor has been going around and I can't find tne ammo anywhere except grossly overpriced on GunBroker. Here's what they said:

"We will continue to offer this ammunition, no worries. We just shipped a boat load out late April to distributors. We will continue to ship as it becomes available until all of our orders are filled. We appreciate your patience with us on this."

17m2 is my alltime favorite cartridge. Fortunately, I have a large stock of it, including non-lead variety. Much of my hunting here in CA is in a lead ban area.
