Hornady A-Max

What is your opinion of the A-max bullet? I am probably going to buy bulk Sierra Matchkings for target shooting and pelt hunting. I am considering A-max for military sporter rifle and general practice.

In my experience they are very accurate. They are my long-range match bullet in 7mm RM.

Great match bullet that easily doubles as a good big game bullet (178gr A-max).

I know my AR-50 likes those 750 gr AMAX bullets, I know I couldn't have hit the 1 mile target we had set up without using them.

In my opinion, it's worth trying in any pursuit of accuracy. Only YOUR rifle can tell you just how accurate it might be.

I love them. They shoot as well as SMK's in most of my .308's. I have taken deer to 600 yards cleanly with them.

+ 1 for tango2echo, I also shoot 168 A-max out of my .308 some of the most accurate bullets I have shot out of my Tikka Varmint.
