My wife is starting to take an interest in longer range shooting, so I've built her an 18" 1in7 Wylde barrel AR with stocks and scope that are a good fit for her.
I think she's progressed to being ready to benefit from ammo "better" than the Wolf Gold/PPU she's using now, but definitely not yet ready for the $1+ per round match ammo.
Found a nice price on a 247 round box of Hornady American Gunner brand 55gr "HP Match" but it comes in two flavors .223 and 5.56. The .223 flavor is $10 cheaper so that tends to be my instinct as to the one to buy.
Any reason the 5.56 might be better for a Wylde chamber?
