I ended up picking up a Lee classic turret instead and will use the rest of the cash towards a new firearm , with the amount I shoot under 2k a year all 4 calibers I load combined

That wasn't a bad choice. Enjoy the press. Progressives aren't for everyone.

I feel bad to say this...I ended up picking up a Lee classic turret instead

I still think they are one of the the best values in reloading presses. Don't feel bad we will have another LNL thread next week at the latest.

I have a single stage classic and an LnL with case feeder. Like any high performer, the LnL requires more tuning. That takes volume and commitment to master it.

The zen of reloading: every choice is the wrong choice, and every choice is the right one.

thanks for all this info , I feel bad to say this I went to cabelas yesterday with $500 cash in hand to pick up the Hornady L N L and I was weak , I ended up picking up a Lee classic turret instead and will use the rest of the cash towards a new firearm , with the amount I shoot under 2k a year all 4 calibers I load combined, I felt the Hornady may of been to much press at this time I can always get one later down the road, but thanks to all of you for the great heads up on the Hornady,

I almost bought the Redding T-1 instead of the LNL but I'm blowing through 1000 rounds per month between 9 mm, 45acp, 7.62x51, and 762x39. I really like popping out a round with each pull of the lever. I've got it set up for 9mm right now, I run down stairs when I have a few minutes and crank out a few rounds and before I know it I've reloaded 300 rounds.

My other press is an old Lee "Deluxe" Three hole turret.
Loaded 10,000s of rounds on it before I bought the LNL and still use it for small batches and .38/357.
I feel like I have gotten my moneys worth out of it and it's still chunking away.
(don't shoot enough .38/.357 to want to buy a shell plate for it.)
