I'm in need of some dies for a .204 Ruger, and I'm debating between RCBS and Hornady. Given Hornady runs $10 extra, I want to know if it's worth the money. I'll be loading a LOT (3 day dog shoot in June), so if the quality difference is significant, the extra cost might not be so bad.

What say you?

With a bullet as small as the .204 Ruger, I would go with the Hornady dies. They have a small tube in the seater die that drops down to make sure the bullet goes into the case straight.

The Hornady dies will help you as described above by redactor. If you're loading single stage, they're both good dies, but if you're loading progressively, the Hornadys get the nod.
