Well, after my assault on Russia, I came across this Belgian Beauty (actually she is Part California Girl, (EA Receiver) part German (G1 Kit) with a Midwestern twist (DSA Scope Mount, Handguard and Bipod).

This about rounds out my caliber rise.

There are (relatively) cost effective options.

I paid $2,800 for my Armalite, and I love it. An M82 would sure be sweet, but $8k is a chunk of change for a toy.

The FAL is my go to iron sight rifle in .308 (a CETME handles the scoped chores). Mine has been flawlessly reliable and this past spring I had Williams Trigger Specialties work their trigger magic on it and the trigger now feels almost as good as a HK PSG1.

Enjoy, buy plenty of mags, shoot more and shoot more often...it's good for the industry!

Yes, its a free float from DSA, I'm told. The Bipod is a BOHICA Arms Heavy Duty.
It's been Duracoated also. I cant wait to get out to a range....

As for $2800 like I said that is just over what I have invested in the five I mentioned.
