How’s your church security?

Primary in Church security are an outside patrol of two or more with radios.

Ladies should be warned to not leave purses visible in vehicles.

These two items are the start of a security system.

Did this many years ago in Houston and it stopped all crime during the services and secured the building and ground in a very clear manner.

That seems so obvious, but when I attended a mission church in Detroit's Hispanic neighborhood, one person left a laptop on their seat and in a different incident a lady left a purse on the seat. Both vehicles were broken into of course and the items stolen.

We are a tiny church in a large gated community The average age of the communicants is around 75 years old. We usually get 20 people a sunday The topic was brought up at a council meeting once. They know I carry and that I have 32 years experience in Corrections.They seem content with that. I honestly don't think there is much potential for trouble.
